DDSP Announces Financing Transaction with Nomura for First Phase of 80MW Taiwan Hyperscale Data Centre Campus

Singapore, 8 June 2026 – DDSP, a developer of hyperscale digital and decarbonized energy infrastructure across Asia-Pacific, today announced the completion of a financing transaction with Nomura in support of the first phase of DDSP’s 80MW Taiwan hyperscale data centre campus.

The Taiwan campus is one of the last permitted, power-secured campuses of scale in Taiwan, which is currently subject to an effective moratorium on new data centre grid connections.  The first phase of the campus, developed in partnership with Keppel Group, is contracted to a leading global hyperscale customer.

The transaction comes amid accelerating investment in cloud and AI infrastructure across Asia-Pacific, with major technology companies announcing substantial long-term commitments across North and Southeast Asia.  These trends are driving increasing demand for both digital infrastructure capacity and the financing required to support its development.

The financing by Nomura supports DDSP’s continued expansion across key Asia-Pacific markets and further strengthens the company’s ability to deliver large-scale, AI-ready infrastructure solutions for hyperscale customers.

The Taiwan campus forms part of DDSP’s broader Asia-Pacific 1.1GW development pipeline spanning North Asia and Southeast Asia, where the company is actively advancing multiple hyperscale data centre campuses, including in Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and Taiwan.

The successful completion of this financing for our Taiwan campus marks another important milestone for DDSP as we continue scaling across Asia-Pacific. We are pleased to have worked with Nomura on this transaction and look forward to continuing to expand our institutional financing relationships across the region.
— Frederic Devos (CEO of DDSP)
Nomura is pleased to work with DDSP on this transaction and sees significant long-term growth in demand for digital infrastructure financing, supported by accelerating investment in cloud, AI and digital capacity across Asia-Pacific. We have been quite active in data centre financings and look to partner with high quality developers.
— Abhishek Tiwaari (Head of Leveraged Loans, Infrastructure and Fund Financing, Asia ex-Japan at Nomura)

DDSP’s development pipeline spans multiple high-growth digital infrastructure markets across Asia-Pacific, positioning the company to support the next wave of cloud and AI deployment across the region.
