DDSP Achieves Financial Close on US$283 Million Green Financing for Malaysian Hyperscale Data Centre Campus
Singapore, 29 May 2026 – DDSP, a developer of hyperscale digital and decarbonized energy infrastructure across Asia-Pacific, today announced the successful financial close of a US$283 million green financing for the company’s hyperscale data centre campus in Johor, Malaysia, incorporating AI-ready liquid cooling technology. The financing marks an important milestone in DDSP’s strategy to build next-generation, AI-ready digital infrastructure across Asia-Pacific.
The financing supports the development of a 45MW built-to-suit hyperscale campus located within Sedenak Tech Park, one of Southeast Asia’s fastest-growing digital infrastructure corridors, designed with closed loop liquid-cooling and an AI-ready high density compute environment. The campus’ capacity has been fully contracted to a leading global hyperscale customer.
The transaction represents a landmark green financing for advanced hyperscale digital infrastructure in Southeast Asia and further strengthens DDSP’s long-term commitment to Malaysia, including the continued expansion of its Johor operations.
The transaction was arranged by CTBC Bank, MUFG and Standard Chartered as Mandated Lead Arrangers, Underwriters and Bookrunners, alongside Entie Commercial Bank as Mandated Lead Arranger. The financing has attracted interest from additional regional and international lenders as part of an ongoing syndication process.
Structured as a green loan, the transaction reflects increasing institutional demand for sustainable digital infrastructure investments across Asia-Pacific, particularly as cloud- and AI-related capacity requirements continue to accelerate.
“The successful completion of this financing marks another significant milestone for DDSP. We are pleased to have secured support from a high-quality banking group and believe the transaction positions DDSP strongly as we continue expanding our hyperscale infrastructure platform across Asia-Pacific.”
The Johor campus forms part of DDSP’s broader Asia-Pacific 1.1GW development pipeline, where the company continues to advance multiple hyperscale digital infrastructure and decarbonized energy projects across key regional markets, including Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and Taiwan.
